Everyone knows what happens to white silicone. Six months around a bath or a hob and it's gone yellow, gone patchy, or gone black in the corners. Then someone has to cut it all out and do it again.
CT1 White doesn't do that. The TRIBRID® polymer holds its colour, so the bead you lay is the bead you're still looking at in a few years' time. And unlike a sanitary silicone, it's a genuine construction adhesive as well, so the same cartridge that seals the joint can bond the panel.
It's the obvious choice for worktop and splashback joints, sanitaryware, skirting and architrave, white uPVC, bathroom panelling and wet-room detailing. SINTEF tested it to ETAG 022 on Fibo Trespo panel systems, sealing vertical joints, profiles and pipe penetrations, and it passed.
Bonds to all metals including lead, glass, mirrors, timber, MDF, polystyrene, fibreglass, concrete, tiles and most stone without staining. Most synthetics and plastics as well, excluding PP, PE and PTFE.
It works wet or dry, including underwater, and it has moderate resistance to fungal and bacterial growth, which matters in a shower. It's ISEGA certified for food preparation environments, EC1 Plus with A+ Indoor Air Comfort GOLD®, and NAAF approved. Odourless, solvent-free, doesn't shrink back. Paintable once fully cured with water-based paints, but not alkyds.
