CT1 Adhesive & Sealant 290ml Clear

Clear sealants have a habit of not staying clear. They cloud, they bloom, they go slightly milky, and suddenly a joint you wanted invisible is the first thing anyone notices.

CT1 Clear cures properly transparent and stays that way. It's the same TRIBRID® chemistry as the rest of the range, formulated for the jobs where nothing should be visible: glass and glazing, mirror work, shopfitting and display, splashbacks, acrylic and polycarbonate sheet, decorative trim, and any pale or patterned surface where a white or grey bead would look wrong.

It's also the most flexible product in the range, with 500% elongation at break against 385% for the pigmented colours. That's useful on anything moving, whether that's thermal cycling in a glazed unit or vibration in a fitted-out interior.

One thing to be aware of: Clear is intended mainly for internal use, and C-TEC's declaration of performance covers it as an interior façade sealant. Use one of the pigmented colours for external work.

Bonds to all metals including lead, glass, mirrors, timber, MDF, polystyrene, fibreglass, concrete, tiles and most stone without staining, plus most synthetics and plastics other than PP, PE and PTFE. On mirrors, apply in vertical strips, and don't use it on PP-backed mirrors.

Works wet or dry, including underwater. Good UV, chemical and vibration resistance. ISEGA certified for food preparation environments, EC1 Plus with A+ Indoor Air Comfort GOLD®, NAAF approved. Odourless, solvent-free, no shrinkage. Declared to EN 15651-1: F-INT under UKCA DoP UKDOP2022-1-CT1.

Apply between +5°C and +40°C. Skins in around 25 minutes at 23°C and 50% RH. Rated −40°C to +120°C. Hardness 42° Shore A, tensile strength 1.60 N/mm², elongation at break 500%, shrinkage under 3%, density 1.04 kg/ltr. 18-month shelf life. Recyclable 290ml cartridge.
