The Sonis® 1 Adjustable Ear Defenders – 27dB SNR are expertly engineered to deliver reliable hearing protection with outstanding comfort for extended wear. Part of the JSP Sonis® range, these ear defenders feature a traffic light colour coding system for quick and easy identification, with Sonis® 1 in Green indicating low attenuation for moderate noise environments.

Providing 27dB SNR protection, Sonis® 1 ear defenders are ideal for environments with noise levels between 80–107 dB. Developed in partnership with a leading UK acoustic engineering research facility, the Sonis® range ensures guaranteed performance through optimised cup size, weight and frequency-tuned foam inserts.

The adjustable steel headband maintains consistent performance across a wide temperature range, while allowing each ear cup to be tilted and positioned for a precise, comfortable fit. The flexible headband adapts to different head sizes, ensuring even pressure distribution and all-day comfort.

Comfort is further enhanced with carefully selected cushion materials that create an effective acoustic seal. The headband is over-moulded in flexible TPE with built-in ventilation, combining durability with wearer comfort.

Manufactured for tough environments, the ear defenders feature impact-resistant ABS cups and robust acetal pivot arms for long-lasting durability. Maintenance is simple – the smooth surfaces are easy to wipe clean, and hygiene kits with replacement cushions, foam inserts and sealing rings are available.

For enhanced workplace adaptability, Sonis® ear defenders can be customised with corporate colours and printed logos (minimum order quantities apply). Extra visibility versions with reflective headbands are also available for low-light conditions.
